We stayed for just one night on a motorbike tour of wales. Malcom and Sandy could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The B&B is beautiful, high quality and standards. The breakfast was wonderful- everything that you could need. Very pleased we chose here to stay and may be back for mountain biking in the summer.

Stayed here for one night with two friends while exploring the trails at Brechfa. Excellent location (black route just down the road and red is about 5 mins drive), very clean, excellent hosts in Malcom and Sandy, fantastic breakfast and good value all round - what more do you need?! We ate at the Black Lion pub down the road... More

Excellent B&B! Both Malcom and Sandy made us muddy mountain bikers more than welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Excellent breakfast, clean spacious rooms with comfy beds, great local knowledge, good sence of humor! and close to the trails, would recommend to anyone

I've just returned from spending an excellent weekend in the Brechfa area, which was made all the more perfect by our stay at Ty'r Cae. The owners, Sandy and Malcome, couldn't have made our group of 4 mountain bikers feel more at home. They where a wealth of local knowledge, helped with maps of local trails and advice on good... Really such a good relaxing place, good room, separate Breakfast area , oh what a delight. Really good value and helpful charming hosts. We have read the other reviews and Sandy is 'short' but in stature not in her most helpful and pleasant company. My goodness some reviewers are a bit sensitive. Hidden gem, yes it would be by pure... We had a wonderful three days courtesy of Sandra and Malcolm who were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The b&b is in an idealic location, very picturesque and quiet but close to the MTB trails at Byrgwm and not far from the Aborlech trail. The accommodation was very relaxing and the rooms and communal areas were clean... More

We have just had the most wonderful weekend staying at this delightful b and b. On arrival we had the treat of homemade welsh cakes and tea and then relaxed in our very comfortable room. Local pubs are very good with good value home cooked food. Breakfast is another treat cooked to perfection by the hosts Malcolm and Sandy -... More

Perfect location for biking, and there is a shed where you can wash and lock up bikes. Malcolm is wonderful and very welcoming but Sandy comes across as a bit "short". When booking she insisted that we let them know when we were arriving as they were going to a concert. We cancelled our plans for the day and left... More

This B&B was perfect or our visit to Brechfa to check out the excellent MTB trails at Byrgwm, Abergorlech and, a little further afield, at Cwm Rhaedr - all to be highly recommended! The B&B was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The location is quiet with green fields and forest as far as the eye can see. On arrival we... More
