We had a great experience staying at Casa Marta y Ramon. Marta was extremely helpful and very sweet, but much more comfortable speaking Spanish than English. The breakfasts were yummy and large. The best thing about this casa is its location: in the NW of Havana Vieja less than 10 minutes walk either to Plaza Centrale or Plaza de la Catedrale. I also stayed in their casa in 2006 and it's really a great casa and a great family. If I go back to Cuba I will go to their place, it was just fantastic. You must visit them.
