Marta and Ramon's Casa particulare offers a safe, pleasant retreat in the heart of old Havana. You get a large, clean, interior room and advice from Marta to help you explore old Havana. Family activities go on around you and let you soak up Cuban culture while resting from the bustle of Havana. The location is 5 star. Marta can... More

We staid here few days in our trip to Cuba. We booked the room with an email and when we arrived mrs Martha has waited us. The rooms are very large, clean with private bathroom. Also we took the breakfast here which was great: fruits, butter, juice, eggs etc. The staff is so warm and helpful and we felt there... More

We had a great experience staying at Casa Marta y Ramon. Marta was extremely helpful and very sweet, but much more comfortable speaking Spanish than English. The breakfasts were yummy and large. The rooms were basic, but spacious and with tall ceilings. Each had a private bathroom, which was really nice, and it was pleasant to be on the ground... More

Wasn't overly impressed with this casa. It's in a good location but apart from that there's not much going for it. The rooms are very basic, the bathroom is actually in the bedroom with a magnetic curtain hanging around it. It was by far the most expensive and least nice of the casas we stayed in in Cuba. Also it... More

The best thing about this casa is its location: in the NW of Havana Vieja less than 10 minutes walk either to Plaza Centrale or Plaza de la Catedrale. It's in an unprepossessing side street but safe at night. Once inside it's a pleasant & comfortable house. Marta speaks little English but her grand-daughter, if present, speaks it well. We... More

We spent a week, Jan 17-24, 2012 in Cuba staying at a casa particular in Old Havana. We found the host family to be welcoming, pleasant & the service excellent. The room for 2 was 30 CUC per night. We had a clean basic room, a private bath with a shower & lots of hot water. We had excellent meals... More

On arriving in Havana late in the evening we were welcomed with a wide smile. A lovely Casa. Breakfast the next day was very filling (fruit: guava, banana, melon, fresh bread, butter and honey, tea or coffee, eggs, fresh fruit juice). The rooms consisted of a comfy bed, clean bathroom, hot water shower and clean towels. Breakfast on request at... More

This is a very nice casa and I recommend it to all my friends or people who travel to Cuba. Friendly family, very good food, they give you very good advice about the city, about buying cigars, rum, etc... The first time I stayed in their casa, was in 2006. I go every year to Cuba and I always go... More
