Magnificent example of Art Noveau. Centrally located near renowned Plaza Veija & quite close to many bars / cafes & restaurants. Original facade of Hotel with impressive decor on each floor & in each room. Lobby is striking with the stained glass windows over atrium spectacular. Rooms & each floor are tastefully decorated by well known Cuban Artists. I actually... More

Popped in here for a drink to escape the heat. Hanoi and Helen at the bar were great - very welcoming and excellent service. The architecture in the lobby is fantastic and the roof terrace is worth a look too for wonderful views over Old Havana.

Such romance.Within the magnificent facade of a colonial bank is an impressive biblically themed series of suites and rooms styled as Hotel Raquel. Each floor and every room themed according to Old Testament references. On the third floor we were shown to our room which was so large that we lost our porter as he disappeared into the curve of the... More

We did not stay at this hotel but on walking by we noticed what a beautiful building it is. As I stood staring through the door the concierge noticed us and invited us in where he proceeded to tell us the history of the hotel. He showed us the beautiful stained glass roof which we would not have been able... More

This hotel is very special in it;s exterior and interior (we visited also the roof) and it has some history. We only came in to have dinner- which was good, with a nice singer to accompany us. This certaily is a point to include on a visit through the old city of Havana.

This grand hotel is located in a great location, it is a short walk to the Old Square, el Malecon and multiple other attractions. The lobby area is huge and shiny with high ceilings and helpful staff. We arrived earlier than the check-in time but they allowed us to check in early once the room was ready. Our room was... More

This colonial style hotel is perfectly placed in old Havana, still in the centre of things but just off the beaten track. The huge lobby, reception, bar and dining area can’t fail to impress. Our group had a variety of rooms for our five-night stay – some with windows and narrow balconies, some without. All were clean and well appointed,... More

The location of this hotel, a stones throw from Vieja and a very shrot walk from Plaza de la Cathedral, is absolutely perfect for exploring Old Havana. The Marble and ceiling decoration of the lobby is stunning, and views from the roof terrace superb. Staff very helpful, rooms of equally great character. Breakfast was something of a let-down, but to... More

This historic hotel located in old Havana, is a beautiful structure with a lovely marble lobby and spacious comfortable rooms. The rooftop garden is a lovely place to relax and get a view of the old city. From the second floor, one can see a magnificent stained glass ceiling. Even if you don't stay here, it's worth a visit.
