The Marriott Curacao gives you a warm welcome when you arrive at the hotel, they offer you a drink when waiting to check in. The staff is very helpfull and friendly to assist you in any way and it gives you the home from home feeling. Very good breakfest with a wide variety of fresh fruit, pasties and the omelette... More

Where do you choose to go that's different with the hope of somewhere different with genuinely friendly people? The choice was narrowed to the Dutch Antilles, though which island? Aruba was always on my 'bucket list' right up until last November 2011. It was then, after viewing the website of my favourite hotel brand, Marriott, that I stumbled across the... More

We went there to experience another Dutch Antilles Island. It was a fun adventure & the people are kind. Curacao is quite different from Aruba, It is not as affluent, it is larger, tropical & less developed. The Marriott is a distance from Willemstadt & the Airport. The building is on a strip of beach with other hotels & restaurants.... More

Stayed at the Marriott from Jan. 2st-28th. Bring bug spray with, you may need it !! Our room was 225, close to everything and a gorgeous view of the ocean and sunset at night. (right from our own balcony) Even though the rooms were a little out dated the wonderful staff made up for it !!! The food in Portofino... More

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the rooms were just OK, nothing great. We stayed in an ocean view room which was pretty decent and also stayed in one of the standard rooms with a view of the street (clearly not as nice as the ocean view). We had actually planned to stay half our... More

We stayed the week of Christmas which was perhaps their busiest season. If you like the beach, you will like this resort. The waters were fairly calm as this side of the island faces south toward Venezuela. That's fortunate because there are no lifeguards. The beach was wide and the reefs on the right side of the beach were close... More

My husband and I own and operate our own business and work 80 hours a week each. When it is time for a vacation it is usually when we are completely and totally worn out and really ready to relax and be pampered. We have traveled a lot over the past 11 years together to varous islands, and resorts, but... More

Dear Nicole~ Thank you or your great comments, very excited when I see comments such as "customer service in Curacao and at Marriott International are not a thing of the past, because unfortunately most places and companies we deal with really struggle" This is what we are all about “Spirit to Serve", with a family tradition of 85 years of... All the luxuries of America but the remoteness of Curacao. Beautiful peaceful beach with a great bar/hut on the beach so you don't have to walk far! I can't wait to go back. More

We enjoyed our stay during Jan 22-28, services were great! Greeting, smiling and prompt. While checked in, staff was not sure about our breakfast package and after contacted Expedia the next day, she not only left a message but also a letter in our room to confirm our free breakfast that is highly appreciated. The best snorkeling we ever had,... More
