Having stopped by in person to reserve a few rooms for that night, I was told to wait a few minutes while they checked availability, who was checking out, etc. fair enough. The Auberge au Picolet is located at the edge of the old city and looking over the water. As Cap Haitien was wracked with social unrest during my stay it was good to have a place to escape to. The rum sours were cold as well as the Prestige Beers. Breaklfast and dinner was more than adequate.

Great choice (there are not many hotels available) in a city that's bedlam. Very clean and comfortable rooms with nice TV and good programs. Hotel security is another plus point . It is well located, rooms are clean and nice, its restaurant has good service. It's close to a very nice restaurant were a lot of tourists go for drinks and traditional food. Internet access is decent too. In summary this hotel is a very good option!

I did not stay at this hotel, but I ate there several times. The food is great and the hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Too bad it doesn’t have a pool or access the beach. I can see this being a good choice if you are in Cap – Haitien for a business stay.

The staff, the food, the rooms, the place, the music, the location, the view, the decor, the service and everything else that comes with staying there was a very good experience. My friends and I enjoyed our stay there and recommend it to all going to Cap Haitien for business or leisure. Experience it and enjoy it!
