Stayed for the first week of September 2011 and it was a lovely holiday. The all-inclusive food and drink was excellent, with food available throughout the entire day. The staff were lovely and friendly, and the overall experience was great! We did not explore Jamaica much, as there was lots to do at the hotel, with entertainment throughout the day. More

The RIU is great because everyone is ridiculously friendly. They have pretty good food and the drinks never end.nyou even get our very own beverage/liquor ispenser in your room! Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel and found little to complain about. The drinks are good the food is also pretty good, although I did get the occasional so-so meal both at the steakhouse (a wedding on at the time) and the asian restaurant. If you've been to a Riu, you know what to expect... you walk lots to get to the buffet, food is usually good and varied and you need to get up early to book your a la carte restaurant meals.
