We made reservations but didn't get the room we wanted. Instead we got room 16, it was acceptable. Not the best but was clean n comfortable. The housekeeper was friendly. I just didn't like the fact that we had to pay $500 if we wanted WiFi..ridiculous. It is over all a very beautiful place or was .... I need some touch ups and it would be perfect

I stayed at the Guest house for 2 nights on business and truly felt the carribbean experience. The rooms are bare and the amneties are enough. That is what I wanted. a true Jamaican experience. It is not an upscale place, though, so if you are looking for luxury this is not it. I enjoyed the seeing the mangos preparing for the picking when I return in May. I will be staying at the same location. Janell, at the front desk was very accomadating. There is a locat grocery store within walking distance. (If you can hike the steep hill). I encourage only those who truly want to live like the locals to stay here. I am not Jamaican but I felt like it was my home.

having seen the write up in rough guides we had booked ocean view for a three nights stay. unfortunatly the place was not up to the write up. its a modern building with shoe box type rooms for 35 usd. no value for money but the view is terrific. overall the place has no taste which blends to the historical galle fort. modern place, bad food and shoe box rooms with superb ocean view. we spent one night and moved to khalids guest house better value for money and great food.
