This is a wonderful place for anyone who wants to get away from the resorts of MoBay but still be close to everything. The hosts, Jean and Della, are incredibly gracious, and their guesthouse is just that - their house, into which they welcome guests. The rooms are excellent value, with all the comforts you need (hot shower, TV, AC) and great views on top of it. Breakfast is home made and excellent. And the gardens are lovely - hear the chirping of birds even though you are only a 5 minute walk from the "strip"... Highly recommended!

Really calm and beautiful place. The house and the host are wonderful. There are some small details that can be improved in the room we rent but it is totally worth the price at the end. Don't hesitate to go there.

If swimming Montego Bay's famous Doctor's Cave beach is on your must do list, this gracious Spanish style large home turned guesthouse is a good choice. Perched above the Hip Strip of Glouster Ave, a short walk to the beach, my midweek stay was a quiet retreat. Proximity to the night life of the city may be different on a weekend, but Jamaican music drifting in is part of the Jamaican experience, Cable TV enabled me to keep up with the world, Wifi available, and overlooking a garden and the artistry of cut stone limestone walls with climbing flowers made me feel at home. As a woman travelling alone, I felt I was in a good spot. Della and Jean made me welcome , my breakfast on the large veranda was very pleasant. Jamaican art. My bed was comfortable, I had a little veranda that overlooked the bay, Very clean. Knightwick is quite close to the airport, but not too close. The sign on the wall at the gated entrance is a little small, but it is tucked back in a neighborhood. I'll definitely stay again. The large living room area and expansive veranda area were nice common spaces. Walking distance to anything you might wish and a taxi drive away if you don't want to bother renting a car for a Mobay stay. Like visiting a friend who has a well kept older home, it is a different experience than an impersonal hotel, with friendly hosts who know the scoop on the town.

We stayed for only one night at Knightwick and will be glad to return. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, the rooms large and gracious. A breakfast porch with plants, a soft breeze. We had a queen-sized bed, spotless accommodations, basic furnishings, ceiling fans and air conditioning if needed. The t.v. didn't work, but it didn't matter for us. We stayed on a Thursday night, no noise issues. But Margaritaville is down on the strip, so light sleepers might take that in mind over a weekend.

It was recommended to me by a friend, who is a tour operator. He puts up his customers here when they come in to MoBay. I would have never found it on my own as it is hidden away on a side street but less than a five-minute walk from the "hip street" and Margaritaville in particular. In spite of its central location, it is in a quiet, peaceful setting on a hillside. The grounds are garden-like with big shady trees. The house itself is like a Spanish villa. Eating the included breakfast on the porch in the morning is a sublime experience. I have only stayed here for one-nighters, coming and going, but I would gladly stay for weeks. The host and her daughter are really pleasant and accommodating people. It's like staying in the home of a friend.

My wife and I stayed here for one night before beginning a birding trip throughout the country. Our room was comfortable with a queen or king-sized bed. The room was simply but pleasantly furnished. Airco worked fine and there was more than adequate hot water. Our room had a balcony over-looking the garden. The house itself is very attractive with a pleasant screened porch for breakfast. The garden is extremely nice. Very well landscaped and maintained. It was a great place to start a birding trip as we were able to see about 14 species during our short stay. The B&B is located a short walk up from the "Hip Strip". We didn't have any noise issues, but I can see where this might become a problem on weekend nights

The place has a lot of potential but failed to deliver. Beautiful house but not very clean. Kitchen flooded with fruit flies. Our air conditioning and television didn't work until the day we left in one room. Only cold showers/no pressure. Very loud until 5am on weekend nights due to being so close to margaritaville. Beautiful view. Had to ask for everything: towels, toilet paper, updates on room upkeep (air conditioning). Sort of felt like we were in the way.

Beautiful big house, tastefully and almost artsy decorated. The rooms are very nicely decorated as well and comfortable. Host Jean Magnus is a gem, very friendly, gives good tips about Jamaica, fun to talk to. The location is also very handy. At night you just step out and you can walk to restaurants and bars. Knightwick is a bit up the hill from the Hip Strip. We loved this place and already booked another stay when we will pass through Montego Bay.

Our stay at this beautiful colonial style property was absolutely amazing! The calmness and peacefulness of this place does not indicate that it is just a 2 minutes walk up above the busy strip. The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and the balconies of the guest rooms invite to linger and overlook the bay at sunset. The rooms are quite big and lovely furnished and very, very clean. Jean, the landlady, is very concerned that the guests feel comfortable and prepares excellent breakfast! Don't miss to get a refreshing drink at the cozy local bar right around the corner before heading back to the center (-: Knightwick is just a perfect retreat that invites to stay longer - or as in our case - return after a 2 weeks trip around Jamaica. And we will definitely come back! Thanks Jean for your great hospitality!

A lovely house above the hip-strip with full bay views in the distance and lush landscaping. Perfect for bird watchers or anyone wishing to be in a home rather than a hotel. The host is welcoming, The house is open and spacious with a definite Caribbean feel. There is no air conditioning but there are large ceiling fans. Street noise is a problem everywhere near the hip-strip but during my visit I heard none. Each of the two guest rooms has a nice private patio with table and chairs and garden and water views. $15 cab ride - set price - from airport. 10 minutes drive.
