La Dunette is the affordable alternative to Club Med in Ste Anne. The location is great, within walking distance of the collective taxis downtown, and close to the public beach. Lots of shops are just steps away.

We stayed at La Dunette for 3 nights in February 2009. The rooms were modest, clean, A/C'ed. We had a sea-view and a lovely balcony. The hotel features an excellent restaurant, dining outside, right on the water. There was live music and dancing every night we were there. It is a nice, small, plain and inexpensive hotel. If you get a seaside side room you'll have a great view. The restaurant is decent, too. The town is charming with a good municipal beach, better than the Club Med section of it. You're within a short driving distance of Les Salines, a fantastic beach.
