On St. Martin Location is key, & for me, Maho has a Great location. Beach, Shops, restaurants, convenience store and loads of entertainment. All in walking distance. What more can you ask for!!! :-)
In response to another reviewer: Yes, one of the beaches is right next to the airport. The best place on earth to watch airplanes land. It's a right of passage to stand on the beach at Maho Bay as a big 747 lands and you feel you can almost touch the plane.
