La Residence is a delightfully unpretentious and whimsical hotel. Ok, so I'm young and I don't stay in 4-star places very often, but La Residence has charm coming out of its ears! The owners are very typically (stereotypically?) French and just perfectly crusty. The breakfast is anything but your standard continental - they served madeleines on Sunday, for crying out... More
