I just recently returned from my trip from Trinidad and gotta say I enjoyed my stay at the Crowne Plaza very much. Warning! The pile driver was pounding away by the pool area during my stay in September, and I could hear the traffic on Wrightson Road below even though my room was on the 11th floor. Thank god for the curfew, as it was dead quiet from 11pm until 4am. The lobby area and the elevators are very old and dated.... More

I don't understand why the rates are so high. Trinidad is in a state of emergency - curfew at night, etc. Not exactly a booming place for tourists, etc. Nonetheless, the hotel is okay.
