My husband and I had a blast celebrating the destination wedding of our friends at Sapphire Beach. Our condo was fabulous and right on the beach. We had all the makings of our own little vacation home including a full-sized fridge, stove and microwave. Our fully furnished condo came with a welcome bottle of rum (Cruzan, natch!), but that's about... More

If you are looking for the perfect beach location, with the most amazing panaramic views of St John and the British Islands with the sand at your door...look no more! I found my lovely oasis on VRBO.com and worked directly with the condo owner to secure the most perfect, adorable, beach front getaway ever!! You can in VRBO and see... More

This is a group of older condos but the location makes it more than acceptable. If you're looking for a good value with amenities like fridge, stove, micro, etc. this is the place for you. And you are literally on the beach the minute you step out your back door. I would stay here again without a doubt. And the... More

Sapphire Beach is not really a "resort", but a group of condos. The pool and beach itself are cleaned every day. But do your homework (thanks to another Tripadvisor review) when you pick a unit. DO NOT stay in building F. We rented from an individual owner, not from the Resort itself, and received rides to and from the airport... More

Let me start by saying I've been coming to Sapphire for over 10 years, and I know Sapphire Beach backwards and forwards. I've seen the good, bad, and the ugly. Sapphire seems to be on the way back to it's glory days. The Resort is much cleaner then it's been in years, the staff and employees seem to have a... More

First the location is amazing. You can hear the sound of waves crashing from B105. The beach is nice and sandy. Thats what this place is about. The resort is a bit of a joke - First, the professional pictures dont show what the place is really like today. That little lobby is NOTHING like what it really is. Do... More

If I can sum up this place in one word, it's this - ghetto. Buildings are run down and need maintenance desperately. Activities hut is a joke. The equipment is in poor condition and the guys behind the counter don't even help or instruct you. Instead, they just watched us struggle. Bathrooms were disgusting and obviously hadn't been cleaned in... More

My husband and I were here for the week before Christmas then heading to St. John to meet up with the extended family for the Holidays. As we were staying in a villa in St. John all I was looking for was a place on the beach for a fair price. I took a chance on Sapphire Beach Resort as... More

We booked a last minute Christmas getaway as a package with airfare and transit to and from the airport. We were mentally prepared for island time, but this was ridiculous. Safe was locked and even with repeated requests it took two days to find out that there was no key and no way to get one. One morning they were... More

We've stayed here for multiple years and we just found out that one of our family members went home with a huge cockroach in his suitcase last year. This year, we're renting multiple units and 2 of them have giant cockroaches. Ewwwwwwwwwwwww! Also we have to fight for towels and at times we didn't get any. None of us had... More
