A lovely welcome began my weekend stay at Courtburn House. The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful with everything that I needed. Breakfasts were superb - I was able to happily stuff myself with lots of yummy freshly cooked things before going for a cycle - from the fresh fruit salad, to thick porridge with cream and syrup to mushroom... Meant to write a review after our visit last summer but have just set up tripadvisor account! Staying here was a highlight of our trip round Scotland. Very friendly and informal atmosphere, luxurious and comfortable furnishing and decor and excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Surrounding area beautiful, particularly the coastal walks at St.Abbs Head. Highly recommended!!

Lovely room. The breakfast was superb, we also loved the fresh fruit. Susie was so welcoming, she sent an email before offering to book a table at the local Inn. It was the best B& B of our holiday. There was even a PC we could use to search for attractions etc

Comfortable, clean rooms with modern ensuite and breakfasts freshly made with lots of lovely options including porridge, perfect before a cold days diving! Our hosts were friendly... More

We stayed for the weekend, lovely room separate from the main house. It all seemed brand new, and a fantastic new bathroom with a big shower. We really liked the way in which we could choose what we wanted for breakfast so we weren't leaving the bits we didn't want. All cooked fresh to order and lots of different options.... More
