We'd been on the hill all day and arrived wet, cold and exhausted on the doorstep of the hotel. Richard the owner couldn't have been more welcoming or done more for us. A hot bath, some good food and a couple of drams were followed by advice on appropriate routes, the best weather forecasts and considerable encouragement for the day... More

The Inchnadamph is a lovely wee hotel with clean and comfy rooms and a roaring fire. It was just what I needed after a long day of driving - a warm bed, a bath and a cracking breakfast the next morning! The owners were incredibly friendly (without being overbearing) and knowledgeable about the area and they had plenty of recommendations... More

Situated on the shore of Loch Assynt in some of the most stunning scenery in Scotland, this friendly Hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere with superb home cooked food and very attentive staff who although very busy always stop to chat and provide advise and guidance on the local area to the many Hillwalkers and Fishermen who make up the majority... The lack of tv, radio and mobile signal makes for great chat around the bar, and when richard provides the weather report for the next day the talk is of planned walks/climbs and fishermans catches, add to this jaime bringing your meal with a lovely smile and richard vaulting the bar to put another log on the fire and it... A Highland Hotel in a distant and lonely situation. The management were friendly and professional. The rooms are about par for this sort of situation - you ain't gonna find a Shangri La in Assynt. They're small and a bit tired - decorwise but remember where you are! we had dinner in the hotel and they did a great job... More

My husband & I stayed at Inchnadamph Hotel for two nights with our dog (Red) to climb Conival & Ben more Assynt. We were greated by Richard who made us feel most welcome, especially Red. Room was perfectly adequate with stunning views across Loch Assynt. Variety of tea, coffee & hot chocolate in room. Lovely fresh, clean bed linen and... More

The rooms are clean and comfortable, but what sets this hotel apart in my estimation is the friendliness of the owners. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed some great food at dinner as well. As they cater to walkers and fishing people, there is a drying... More

The rooms at Inchnadamph are not luxurious but are clean and comfortable with beautiful views of loch and mountains. The owners are friendly and helpful, the food perfectly adequate. A good stopover if touring or a base for walkers and climbers.

The hotel is well run by friendly staff, great views over the loch and lots of local fishing. Food was tasty and filling with real ale on draft. Well located for hanging out/shelter/quick stop off.

I Stayed in the Inchnadamph years ago and was excited to visit again. My memories of the place are good....if anything it has improved with age. Richard was an excellent host - full of local knowledge and tales of the elusive haggis. I hope it won't be too long before I visit again. Breakfasts are outstanding - especially the black... More
