The room was a little on the small side but was very clean and had a good comfortable bed. The bathroom was quite large and would have benefited from a bath. Clean sheets and good breakfast, what else do you expect for the money ! Would stay again. There's a pub opposite but I didn't find it particularly troublesome, and there is a choice of takeaways nearby.

Stayed here on the first night of the Newcastle to Edinburgh cycle trip and they were very cheery over the phone and when first greeted. They do have great storage for bikes, which is the locked outside toilet! We had a twin room, which was clean enough, if not a little pokey. Facilities were fine and We had nice biscuits.... More
