My husband & I had an incredible stay here- the people were friendly & helpful, our room was gorgeous, and the hotel grounds & architecture were fantastic. We dont usually eat at hotel restaurants while traveling, but the restaurant here was soo good. I recommend tasting their curries, fresh squeezed juices, and of course, the gingerbread.

Bequia does not provide Hiltons and Marriots and that is why it is so unique and real Caribbean. The Gingerbread Hotel has a great location on the sea front. Jumped ship for a couple of nights to 'experience' Bequia! This hotel has character and so do their employees! Loved it! If your looking for the standard "Hilton" room, just move on! If you want to experience the island life, this is the place! Loved everything about it . . . Don't miss the gingerbread at the restaurant!

A walk of 5-7 minutes from the docks along the belmont walkway and youll find the Gingerbread hotel on your left side. Nice place for dinner, but not as relaxed as the rest of Bequia.

I wish I had enough time and energy to describe the friendliness, warmth, uniqueness, and rare beauty that is Bequia. It was unlike any other place we have been in the Caribbean, and the Gingerbread (stewarded by Pat Mitchell & company) was the crown jewel of our experience. Thanks, Pat.
