Overall the room was clean the location was great, right on the beach. Good restaurants and cafes within minutes. about 15 drive to the shopping district. I had a room with a beach view and a jacuzzi. a bit expensive because the jacuzzi jets and pump DID NOT WORK!!! I was bummed. very noisy at night with a restaurant next door and a party bar next to that. Loud music and party screaming etc.......

We chose this hotel based on it's closeness to a scuba dive shop but were very happy with our choice. Very clean; pleasant and friendly front desk and cleaning staff. All rooms face the ocean. We were on the 5th floor and had a balcony with great view. Parking is on hotel property and, although not secure, is mostly within view of the front desk and we felt our vehicle was safe. Lots of restaurants in the area. They were busy working on upkeep of the property, painting the outside, replacing some roof tiles and working in one of the rooms a couple doors down from us. We would definitely stay here again.

Older hotel with clean rooms ours had a king size bed, balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. There was a fridge in the room. This is a basic hotel with coffee in the lobby...instant ugh But we had a very accommodating host/owner and free beer. This location is ideal as there are many good restaurants in the area. The only downside was on the weekend there is a adjacent bar that plays load music into the wee hours. Still I would return to this hotel

Clean, inexpensive, and so very good restaurants with in walking distance. Beach was clean, surf was high but no undertow. Great view of sunsets. Nice people at the front desk. Not your all inclusive. Away from the large hotel zone. We will come again.

Sometimes you want tobtake a break in a place with access to downtown, and just few steps from the beach. This Hotelito offers you everything for moderate price. Renewal process was finish last month April, 2017. The owner is taking care of service and really working to offer a good experience in the middlebof Manzanillo bay.

A little bit spendy, but a very nice hotel. We had a big room on the 5th floor with a jacuzzi, overlooking the pool and ocean. The new owner is making many improvements. He is also very much interested in pleasing his guests. A very nice and helpful individual. The sound of the surf is easy to fall asleep by. If you leave the sliding glass door and the room door open you get a nice ocean breeze and don't need the air conditioning. The shower was nice and hot.

In general, the hotel is expensive , has BAD SERVICE, is in a bad shape, old installations , VERY NOISY you won't sleep at all (bar on the roof that opens until 5am) dirty, the rooms smells bad, terrible Wi-Fi and the worst thing is that they don't have restaurant or bar service so everybody in the pool brings food in plastic containers and nobody from the hotel cleans the area, so it's always dirty. Another TERRIBLE thing is that the hotel is supposed to be "pet friendly", they charged us extra for the dog (a little expensive compared to other similar hotels), and they don't offer nothing for them as a bed or water plates. The rooms are in terrible shape, the curtains don't work, the rooms stink like sewer, the towels smell bad and the shower doesn't have a curtain, so everything gets wet. The lady from the reception has very bad manners, doesn't even smile and doesn't solve any problems at all. Give a look at the pictures so you could give yourself an idea before making any reservation.

We booked our Christmas vacation at Hotelito Escondido based on our experience 5 years ago. We should have read the latest reviews. We were stuck there because of the lack of vacancies at other hotels that allow pets. The owner has leased the property to a previous manager who now operates the hotel. Beautiful location. Great structure. Amenities include: Endless Pools that are not endless (overflow water costs money you know) Nice tile-work throughout based on a theme of broken tile (like most everything else) Staff are really wonderful and you can see in their eyes that they just do not have the support or tools required to do their jobs. Air Conditioning (rusted out compressors on the first floor rooms) Flintstone type bedframes made of concrete (Wouldn't want to have a guest steal the beds, right?) Mattresses kind of crackily (disintegrated plastic mattress covers hiding old stains under the sheets) Stairways blocked (it's a good place to store broken stuff) Thatched Roofing Gives a Pleasant Tropical Look (Much nicer if they did not dry what looks like giant sheets on top of it) Cable TV (yes, there is a cable attached) Kiddie Pool (wired with exposed two-wire cut extention cords with extra thick black tape for safety) It's raining on my feet! (separated faux marble washbasins leak on your feet for that refreshing feel) Have raw eggs to cook? (no problem - unregulated boiling water issues from all bath faucets) Security Key Electronic Cards on all doors (So we write the room number on each card which is not a problem because the codes are reset each day voiding the cards) Exceptional Views from the beach (what a waste) Non-sealing refrigerators in each room (hey, they look great with the fresh coats of latex paint) Pool area restrooms without soap (we forgot to install sinks anyway) Black Mold (yes, we have that) Pool Maintenance (yes the pool guy comes and looks around) Have children or pets you don't like? (Two deathtraps between the pools and hotel - 1)Completely rotted trap door to pool filters. 2) 15X3 foot ungrated basement vent - Both with 10 foot drops.) Sixth floor high decibel Zombie Rave Mexican Country Heavy Metal nightclub (provides free ear splitting in-room music 10PM through 5AM several nights per week) I cannot say enough about this property! Oh yes, the free weak coffee! (just add more water to the used grounds brewed at 11pm for the next morning) Once again, the staff is at a loss to cope with the inept management of such a really beautiful structure with fantastic beach local. They wash the bedding each night and make beds each day with spotless sheets. The rest is not staff's fault. The owner should be ashamed, the leased property manager should be ashamed. They should be ashamed of their treatment of staff, not providing staff the proper tools to do their jobs, and for wasting the opportunity to have the best boutique hotel in Manzanillo.
