To be fair the surroundings in the hotel and resort are wonderful. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable if you could get past the world's roughest sheets. We returned to Royal Villas Oct 24-31, 2011. I am not going to go into layout of rooms etc. as I have done that on previous reviews. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Tulum unit, which has ocean front view and 3 or 4 balconies LOL. The resort has done some repairs and such so all is in good shape.... More
