I would classify this as one of the best hotels I've stayed at if I didn't open the curtains to enjoy the view. The hotel is dwarfed by the huge building next door. For a brand new hotel the facilities are excellent but the tour operator they use for their trips is poor both in quailty of coaches and guides. This was an Aristos on the edge of the Zona Rosa when I lived in Mexico City in the 1990s. Marriott has done a great job of upgrading the facilities and making it a much better hotel.
