Segovia is a great place to stay in Mexico City. The price of the rooms is very accesible, they are all clean, no weird smells, purified water, tv, room service, the only downsize to it is that is is next to a road with lots of traffic so if you have problems falling asleep because of the noise, maybe check... We stayed at the Segovia on a whim. It's close to Zona Rosa, well kept and very affordable. It's so close to Zona Rosa my bf and I walked there and back in the night with no problems... although the street separating the Hotel from Zona Rosa is pretty active most of the time. A couple of block down the... More

It’s quite good place. Hotel is located near (3 min walk) from metro Station Insurgentes and main streets Pasada de Reforma and Zona Rose. Room was clean and comfortable. We left tips in the room, but they never took it. The windows faced to inner court, so it was quiet in the room. I liked decoration in lift halls: hotel’s... More

Average hotel in Mexico city, near Insurgente metro station. Honestly, I do not understand people in Mexico taking taxis, the city is always one big traffic jam, and metro, though crowded, serves pretty well. Insurgente square is surrounded by a number of cafes, bars, etc, many of them are gay. So if you want to find this sort of people,... More

Having stayed in this hotel for about 2 weeks I can higly recommend it for anyone who is on a budget and would like to stay near the city centre and be well connected to the rest of DF at the same time. Yes, the area is a little bit dark and seems insecure at night, but me being a... More

I was there to do some personal business. I told my friends and family that I was stasying there and gave out the number along with my room number. My family called but they could not get through. The problem being the hotel phone opperator could not speak english. Instead of trying to help she just hung up the phone.... More

It was loud at night, and the staff did not care. The food was mediocre. I had a different price written on my check-in card when I checked out than when I checked in. I asked the clerk about the change. I’ve never seen a hotel clerk with anything like his reaction. I have never been in a situation like... More

Read the reviews, and was aware of the hotel from several visits to the City. First the room was too warm (Unusually warm for November) I asked twice for a fan for the room - no luck. I was told their was air-conditioning, but it only worked for about 4 hours over 4 days - and too noisy. No controls... More
