I chose The Red Tree House after reading all the superlative reviews here, and I can assure any reader that they are accurate. This place is a real gem. First the neighborhood of Condesa is lovely. Its safe and a haven in the bustle of Mexico City. A whole range of restaurants, bars, cafes and of course the park are... More

I had five days to spend in Mexico City and staying at the Red Tree House made the time fantastic. It is a beautiful little jewel in Condesa. They couldn't do enough for you whether it was getting a cab, recommending restaurants or places to visit. I wouldn't stay any where else.

The Red Tree House is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are quite big and very comfortable. The staff is beyond friendly, each and everyone remembers your name and they constantly go out of their way to make sure you are happy. In the rooms, they have a list of recommendations for restaurants in the near area. We checked... More

This was our second time to stay at the Red Tree House. We stayed in the Lafayette Suite...but all rooms are very nice. We find the Tree House to be a convenient, safe location with great hospitality. There are restaurants for all types of dinning within walking distance. We have stayed at other places in Mexico City but this is... More

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Felt so welcome and at home there. Staff were amazing - especially victor! It's so sociable And encourages people to get to know each each other - like a posh hostel! If you wanna keep to yourself and never see any other guests then this place is maybe not for you.... More

The ultimate utopia in Mexico City. Just returned from my 2nd stay w/ the RTH and before I left the third was arranged. In my travels, this is hands down my favorite place that I've ever stayed. If you want to be treated like a friend whose comfort, happiness, safety and satisfaction is priority #1, stay here. Every single person... More

I booked the Red Tree House for myself and my husband, and a second room for my daughter and her husband, based on TA reviews. We all could not be happier. The place really is an oasis of peace and tranquility in busy Mexico City. It's in a great, trendy neighborhood which my daughter, who has lived in Mexico about... More

They run a very impressive operation here. The rooms are great, the space is full of charm, and is kept squeaky clean. Neighborhood is wonderful and very close to all public transportation options. Most impressive is the respect that they give their guests and how seriously they take each and every request. I felt utterly "taken care of" here. This... More

We have NEVER stayed in a nicer accommodation. Anywhere! The rooms, the setting, the location, the friendliness at The Red Tree cannot be beat. The free breakfasts are great. Even if you don't want the delicious huevos, there is lots of fresh fruit, delicious churros, hot coffee, fresh orange juice, etc. Kitchen staff is so nice. They arranged a visit... More

The friendly staff here will make you feel at home the moment you ring the buzzer under the brightly lit red tree (yes, there really is a red tree!) Our stay was fantastic - the room was cozy, decorated in a modern yet comfortable style. The afternoon happy hour in the courtyard is a nice touch and allows you to... More
