We stayed here for only one night but I really liked it. There are two neighbouring sites for the hotel. We stayed in the more easterly one on Calle Profa Maria Adelina Flores. We needed a room for three people and the front desk staff happily showed us several rooms to choose from. One room was opposite a karaoke bar... More

It has been a very nice experience. This hotel is very conveniently located one block away from San Cristobal's main square. Service is wonderful, rooms are very nice and clean, they even have a chimney that will be fired for you for those cold nights. Food at the hotel restaurant is very good and fairly priced. More

Great location, great service, and great product. The suite is only a few pesos more but is worth it. The only disadvantage I find is that it is a little bit hoise during the weekend, because is just right next to the street and cars some times drive by whith the stereo very lound. More

Room 603, ask for it because it has a view from the bedroom and from the jacuzzi tub bathroom. It's on the third floor, no elevator. I loved that the room felt like a castle turret, or something special like that. The bed was a little hard. The building is the second part of the hotel, it has a large... More

+ great location (but there's plenty of posadas in colonial houses in the centre). being high season, it was one of the few hotels available in town, even 3 months in advance. free parking. useful info to find your way by car out of the caothic centre of town. - price. rooms are quite dated and a bit cold. open... I cannot imagine a better hotel in San Cristobal de las Casas than Diego de Mazariegos. Our room was very large, clean, quiet and cozy. It's not very warm in San Cristobal and thus the room wasn't very warm either, but there's a wood fire which can be lit for 15 pesos (we didn't use this service though). The bathroom... More

Stayed there for three nights. The first two nights we were in the newer building where the restaurant is. Lovely rooms, spacious, clean and with a fireplace. On the third night, we were moved to the older part of the hotel, where the bar is. The rooms were adequate but not as nice as the ones in the new part.... More

We stayed one night here in August in two standard rooms. The rooms were pretty basic: wooden beds, a narrow wooden desk with a TV on top, and a couple of chairs; both rooms looked over internal courtyards. The lighting was not bright and the bathroom was simply a small tiled room with a toilet and a showerhead, and a... More

It is situated very close to the main square and many shops and restaurants. We tried to eat at the hotel on the first night but after hanging around the restaurant for a few minutes with no one else in sight we ate at and can recommend La Paloma restaurant on Hidalgo. Our room was generally clean but had not... More
