Perfectly located directly at the old mayan ruins, just a few steps away; you can even see the large pyramid from your terrace! The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, the food is very good, employees are very friendly, and you can check out the ruins by day or night, whenever you like. Definitely a good choice on a round-trip at... More

Well located to visit Chichen Itza and start early. Ratio quality/price does not make it. Should avoid having sale people arpund the hotel site. Hotel was booked so service was average. Should be more incline in providing good service and keeping a pristine dining room.

Stayed for one night on recent trip round the Yucatan. Somewhat disappointed! Booked the upgraded bungalow with loft and had expected a sitting area downstairs. However the downstairs I guess is same as the other bungalows, just two beds. So our bungalow could have slept 6! No mosquito net on upstairs bed but there was on the downstairs bed. No... More

what a great location, ideal to visit ruins before the crowds. Would have liked complimentary water at least 1 per person per night would be nice and most hotels do this. Also safes in rooms please, such a hassle going to front lobby every time you need something.

I stayed at this resort during my trip to Chichen Itza, This is the best resort I ever stay, beautiful surrounding, very calm, wild bird everywhere, good breakfast, nice pools, and the best of the best is the private entrance into Chichen Itza archeology site to see KuKulkan Pyramid. The resort was built in a hilly design and but friendly... More

It is really something special to see Chichen Itza early in the morning before the crowds arrive and the sun gets hot. To do so you really would make the whole experience easy if you stayed at the Lodge. The bungalows are built where the original mayan bungalows had been. They are traditional in design with the comforts of decent... More

Stayed here with a group of friends in October 2012. Each couple was assigned their own little cabin. Although it wasn't exactly little!!! We had beautiful rooms, access to a private pool which was shared with a handful of other cabins. We were greeted with a lovely cool drink upon arrival. The staff were excellent, surroundings sumptious, rooms remarkable. Also,... More

My husband and I stayed here for 8 days, 7 nights. We loved everything about this hotel!. We arrived at night and were immediately greeted with homemade lemonade in handblown wine glasses, then whisked off to our bungalow via golf cart, the grounds were even gorgeous at night, romantically lite, the staff so friendly, it was so pretty and lovely... We did not know what to expect when we arrived at The Lodge, but were very pleasantly surprised. The grounds and lodges are lovely and of course it's proximity to the ancient Mayan site is exceptional. We saw the Mayan sky exhibition in the Planetarium, which was a good grounding for our tour the following day. The breakfast was good... More

My wife and I spent a total of 2 days at the Lodge at Chichen Itza. The first day was a total disaster. We were brought to our bungalow, in the pitch black evening, by golf cart. We found that there was no water in the room. No water in the bathroom, shower, sink, etc. Since there is no phones... More
