after arriving from manchester into cancun,we stayed the night in a hotel in the town centre and decided we would travel the following day to Merida to see if the hosts of the hotel zamna were still Linda & keith. To our great delight on ringing the bell we were greeted by a dog barking ,so we knew this would be... Hi, I found the Hotel Zamna while jogging Merida and liked the location. It is on a one-way street in the middle of a block. The thru traffic must be heading south towards Santiago, then away from downtown Merida, so it does not get a lot of traffic. Given that you can walk 3 blocks to Santiago, and 10 blocks... More

Linda and Keith offer their guests an atmosphere of 'your home away from home'. Wake in the morning to a great 5 course breakfast, that gets your day off to a fantastic start. Plan your days' events; site-seeing in the historic and majestic city, an excursion to a Mayan ruin or relax with a good book around the well maintained... More

It's like entering another world when you walk through the doors of Hotel Zamna. The tall ceilings, beautiful artwork and wonderfully decorated entrance is just the begining. At that point you are greeted by 2 of the nicest people we have ever met while traveling.(And we travel alot). Linda and Keith (the owners) make you feel like family as soon... More

As it was our first venture into this part of the world, we consulted with freinds & relatives who had laready travelled to Mexico. We originate from Southport, on the North West coast of the UK, and we had friends who had visited this hotel last year. We were absolutely delighted with the hotel, and were made to feel very... The service was top drawer from moment one, including breakfast at 4:30 a.m. for an early departure from the airport. Cabbies and tours to the ruins were arranged cheerfully. Rooms and baths were pleasingly decorated and comfortable. Hotel Zamna is an easy walk to the main street of Merida and the two main plazas. We felt safe at all times.... More

Our Hosts Keith and Linda were just fantastic, and the place was so warm and inviting. It was exquisite, curious and mysterious and so satisfied all of my natural instints to look, listen and learn about the Maya history. Will be certaintly looking to come back again soon!! More

This was the most pleasant and wonderful Bed and Breakfast we have been to. The moment you walk through the door you feel welcomed. Our mornings started with fresh breakfast (Linda’s Wonderful Homemade quiche), coffee, fresh fruit, and fresh juice. The owners, Linda and Keith were absolutely wonderful. This being our first time to the Yucatan, they made every step... More

Absolutely an honor to have stayed here. Not only is Hotel Zamna a beautiful home, Keith and Linda made it feel as if it was our home. Well priced and Very well kept, Zamna has been hand decorated by Linda to resemble something much more luxurious than what you would expect from a B&B in mexico. Great care is taken... More

We stayed 2 nights after having spent a week travelling and a very long day of driving from the southern coast, so we arrived tired and hungry. Linda and Keith welcomed us to their beautiful hotel, showed us around, fed us dinner (very reasonable including wine), and we were revived for a night of exploring the festivities in Merida (around...
