The title says it all. In terms of service, cleanliness, modernity and in particular; food, this hotel is way below other ibis hotels we've been to. Good location if visiting the historical centre of Merida and Uxmal (Puuc Route). When staying in Cancun it is a nice place to stay over for one night to visit all touristic places in the environment. Having breakfast on the Plaza Grande in Merida is a must.

Changed here from a old-time downtown hotel. Small, clean, efficient, great shower pressure. Half a block from the Monumento a la Bandera on main Montejo avenue, with good restaurant/café Slavia-Tobago-Cubaro facing it. Block from huge Fiesta American hotel, with Sanborns, mall, guayabera stores, Los Almendros (Yucatecan restaurant). Stroll down Montejo to ice cream, archaeology museum, etc.

Not happy with the tv channels line up, prior years Fox news was a cource here at Ibis and now no longer any US channels available for news, only lousy CNN en espanol for news. A cup of wine very expensive compare to others.
