A friend and I stayed here 3 nights in April 2013. Very clean, staff very helpful, and wonderful location to all the action. It is about a 5 block walk to Plaza Grande and nice sidewalks. The owner was most helpful and very friendly. Will definitely stay here when I return to Merida. The city is so clean and friendly.

I will come back here. It is a nice hotel with the community feel of a hostel. Clean and friendly and a free breakfast. The room was quaint and I loved the mosaic tiling in the bathroom. The staff was helpful with everything. Location is quiet which is hard to find this close to downtown Merida.
