“Overpriced and badly managed”

We stayed here in January of 2013 for a couple of nights. The location is breathtaking, the beach is heavenly and the Maya ruins nearby are awe-inspiring. The staff was very friendly, unlike the Italian manager who is rude and anything but customer-friendly. My 15 year old daughter and I stayed 13 nights at La Vita e Bella end of April and 1st week of May. It was amazing! The staff was wonderful, the front desk was so friendly and helpful! I feel truly sorry for those who book this place in advance as we did. Overall, a greedy vibe. The staff is nice, Carmen very helpful, but it feels like management is very distrustful of them and everyone is looking over their shoulder. We love Tulum Beach La Vita E Bella had the perfect location! The front desk was extremely helpful! The rooms were very small but kept clean. We loved the towel art and the breakfast was awesome! Cant wait to go back to Tulum Beach!!!
