We decided to get away for the weekend for our wedding anniversary and chose the beautiful county of Norfolk. When we arrived at Dersingham and found, (easily by the way), Ashdene House, we were a bit concerned as it was on a main junction. But our worries were unfounded. We pulled into a spacious private car park alongside a beautifully... More

Booked at the last minute and took a chance on this nice little place. On arrival we were met by Annette who looked after us and brought us a really welcome cup of tea and cakes. The place is small but really well looked after and has a nice feel about it. We ate at a recommended pub just up... More

I cant say enough with how good the stay was, and I have to say the choice in the room was amazing and we even had an en-suite bathroom which was an added bonus. We were greeted with drinks and cake as we arrived, offered advice of the local area and provided with leaflets for all the places we were... More

Me and my Husband stayed for the night and had a fantastic time. We were made to feel very welcome and the room was clean, fresh and very homely. The two owners were very welcoming and couldn't have been nicer. We were given a range of teas, coffees, water, biscuits and hot chocolate in our room, as well as being greeted... More

Made a late booking for 2 nights in February, for 3 of us (2 rooms) Arrived to a very warm welcome and offered tea and a variety of home made cake. Immediately felt comfortable and there was a home from home feeling.Rooms freshly decorated and although not the largest rooms or en suites, there was everything we needed, no complaints.Excellent... This is an excellent B&B. We stayed on a cold Saturday night in October. The room was warm and cosy and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we were well catered for as vegetarians. There was a fridge for us to put our own food in if required. The most memorable aspect was how friendly and helpful... More

Spent a wonderful long weekend at Ashdene House recently. The owners are lovely, very friendly and good for advice on what to see in the local area. The bedrooms are very comfortable and lovely and warm after going for a bracing November walk on the beach! We enjoyed the breakfasts, particularly the homemade jams and marmalade. I would definitely stay... More

A lovely warm welcome from the owners with a nice cuppa on arrival. Lovely old house and the rooms were very nice. Breakfast was in the dining room and was run in a very professional manner although still very friendly. Beautiful hearty breakfast and the smoked salmon was a real treat. Highly recommended in a pretty little village and well... More

Having read the "terrible" review I thought I was on the wrong b&b site! Our experience was the exact opposite. Great hosts, nothing was too much problem, the room was clean and warm. The breakfasts lovely, using great quality food. We were able to store our bikes when not in use and appreciated the positive attitude of the hosts. I... More
