My wife and I spent four nights at Kinloch in the middle of a tour of the Hebrides and were glad we hadn't used it as a quick stopover. The house is easy to find whilst retaining the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere. Our room was large and extremely comfortable with lovely views over Loch Druidibeag to... More

Spent 2 nights at the Kinloch and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Wegg is an excellent cook and a great host. I like that fact that he join us at meals. We enjoyed our conversations and he was never at a loss for words. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet and clean. Very private. Wegg, the proprietor, is a most interesting conversationalist and his meals, both breakfast and dinner are truly world class. You have to experience it!!!!!!!!! Take him up on offers to provide dinner meals. They are well worth it. The quality, presentation and options are unbeatable. If you have any difficulty finding Kinloch, just ask a... More

We stayed with Wegg on a return journey from a wonderful relaxing Hebridian holiday. The house was well furnished with tasteful decor and comfortable beds with lashings of hot water and delicious food. The garden was an interesting interpretation of a windswept landscape and offered shelter and interest for exploring. We will certainly recommend this B&B to any of our... More

We had three excellent days staying at Kinloch. Wegg is my husband's second cousin removed(!) and it was great to meet up with him. He runs a wonderful place, the house is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and has a very good collection of books and music. He organised two days of fishing with the excellent gillie Ian... More

My husband has already booked for a second year. Apart from Wegg's first class cooking and general organisation, it was a pleasure to sit at meals with him as he is one of the most entertaining of people. He is also a very knowledgible fisherman, although he will probably deny this. He has done up his house to a very... More

This is the second year I have been to stay with Wegg at Kinloch B+B and it was just as good this year as last. Wegg did everything he could to make our stay great and the food is wonderful. The fishing is amazing - it is not often you can catch a 5lb brown trout in 3ft of water... More

Very good: comfortable, hospitable and good home cooked food. Very helpful about what to see and made us feel like house guests.

Wegg goes out of his way to make your visit a happy and enjoyable experience. The house is very comfortable and warm and there is a first class shower. We had dinner for 2 evenings and his cooking would put most chefs to shame. Wegg is a first class conversationalist and dinner was great fun---never a dull moment! Maxi the... More

We spent a week at Kinloch fishing for Brown Trout. Wegg could not have been more friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding.
