We were welcomed into the hotel, the room was very clean and perfectly fine - and excellent value at £40 for a double room for the night. We didn't have an evening meal in the pub but the cooked breakfast was very generous and very well cooked - excellent value at £4.95. The beer in the pub was well kept... More

Reviewing the restaurant only as didnt stay here Ate here last night with my cousin when we were out for a day in the countryside and had a lovely meal. Restaurant was busy, so it did take a while for the food to come, but it was worth the wait. I had fish and chips and my cousin opted for... More

A group of us ate in the restaurant recently and found the staff very friendly and accommodating and the food reasonably priced and well cooked. A great pub to have a meal when staying in the surrounding villages.

Stayed at the Percy Arms recently and found the room comfortable, clean and spacious, with an ensuite facility. The breakfast - available 8.30-9.30, suiting me fine as I was on holiday - was superb: generous and tasty, including bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, tomato, hash brown, unlimited toast, and instant coffee. Some nice classical music by Joseph Haydn, on CD,... More

We have not stayed at The Percy Arms but visited for 2 meals in the lounge/bar area during August 2011. Both times the staff were accomodating and the food on the main menu, whilst fairly basic, was well cooked and very reasonably priced. Specials board seems a little more inventive. Guest ales are featured if this is your thing. Spacious... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at the Percy Arms Hotel. First impression, it was a bit tired and dated, in need of a refurbishment. However, we had a good comfortable and quiet nights sleep. The breakfast was nice and we ate in the Restaurant each evening as we spent a full day out and didn't want to have... More

Just read the rather mixed reviews of our old friend "The Percy Arms".Whilst never having stayed here, would warmly recommend for a pub evening meal. We ate in the restaurant on Hallowe'en night two years ago -absolutely fine, good food, plenty of it and a lovely party of local young people having an evening meal before going off to some... More

The Percy Arms Hotel in the village of Chatton is the nearest place for dinner to the wonderful Chatton Park House B&B. Unfortunately the night we ate there the food was very disappointing and expensive for what it was! We knew it was a pub with a simple menu but there is no excuse for poorly cooked food with low...
