Designed with the reception area in front of the courtyard. You can hear everything that happens in the reception area. It is frequently very noisy. Very hard to get a decent night's sleep in this hotel. The other guests frequently stay up late and are very loud. The management does not seem to care. Complaints fall on deaf ears here.... more

We chose this hotel because of the Satelite TV with lots of English Channels. We enjoy resting with a TV and wanted Hotel ammenities that some of the B&B's don't have. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Monteverde, and would gladly stay there again. The hotel is located about 6 blocks from the central plaza, has a nice courtyard and an above standard complimentary continental breakfast. The rooms are spacious, attractive and clean.
