I booked a room at the Best Western Hacienda Tetakawi in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico. I made the mistake of relying on the Best Western name presuming that the company inspected the premises before allowing them to operate under the Best Western flag. What a relief to arrive here for 2 nights after leaving Los Jitos!! The desk staff was helpful, and the property was in good repair. Clean safe hotel, but for the money you could stay at other hotels near the area that are far better value and much more comfortable. It was during the winter, they have no heat but did provide us with a portable heater and that staff was very nice. My biggest complaint it that its right on the hwy so is... more

I have stayed that the Teta Kawi many times (also several other places in San Carlos and Guaymas). It has always been clean and we have been treated very good.
