We arrived late from St. John's and Mary was waiting up for us. She makes the place feel so warm and welcoming. The rooms are small but clean. The washroom/shower is shared among guests. We stayed at Wild Roses for 2 nights after completing three days of hiking and camping on the East Coast Trail. Our trip plans changed at the last minute and there was a music festival going on in St. John's, so finding a place to stay after flying in at 9pm was no small achievement. “We felt like part of the family”

Mary is a wonderful host who welcomed us with no restrictions regarding time. She feels that people on holidays shouldn't have curfews or schedules so breakfast was when we got up and we hung out with her entire family when we wanted company. A lovely lady with a clean, comfortable B&B.
