This is a great place to stay when travelling along the Cabot Trail. Staff were great at answering questions via email before and after booking. Our room was quite big and we enjoyed the view. Breakfast was available in the restaurant for a very reasonable price. Also very helpful to have a laundry room on site!

We stopped here last summer with a family of 4; were we ever surprised. There is lots of land to explore here and the owners encourage u to make use of it. There are outdoor fire pits and if ou walk around some very breathtaking views....food ok...hospitality great... And nice rooms that have all been renovated and modernized...would recommend stopping... More

Five star this is not- it is a pedestrian motel at the side of a road. But the road happens to be the Cabot Trail, and this is half way through it (between Ingonish and Chedicamp- which both have superior accoms.) Rooms are OK, even those w/o ocean view have nice view, ours had a view on art artifacts in the middle of grass. We eat only breakfast in the restaurant, which is moderate at best. Staff is friendly and place is great to enjoy in national park, whale waching.

Stayed here while in Pleasant Bay for a funeral. Rooms were spotlessly clean, meals were excellent with reasonable prices & generous portions. The staff was friendly, professional & compassionate to all the family members who stayed at the motel. Don't judge the exterior as the rooms are clean and updated. We had an ocean view room with a shared (but divided) terrace. The food was great for a great price. The view and the sunset was gorgeous - they have chairs for you on the edge of the field overlooking the ocean.

Great place to stay. Beautiful grounds with very beautiful views of the ocean and sunsets. Comfortable beds with a very good selection of TV stations via satellite. Food at restaurant was very good with reasonable prices and friendly staff. We would recommend this to anyone.

Stayed here with a family of 5. The room was large and clean but the beds were very old and squeaky. It was an ok place to stay but nothing to write home about. If you do stay here don't miss the sunset from the hill, great view.
