“The friendliest place and best location in Cabo!”

We have stayed here at least once a year since 1995. The front desk staff,Ana, is wonderful. The rooms are clean and quiet. We can and have walked to anyplace we want to. A pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach. We could stay anywhere.... we choose the Mar de Cortez!!!!

This hotel, while not on the beach, is in one of the best locations. You can easily walk to the beach...it'll give you a great walking tour of downtown, while on your way to the beach. My wife and I just spent 3 nights at the hotel, our first NON all inclusive stay anywhere and really enjoyed it. My friend book this hotel because the hotel pictures (exterior pictures) looked nice and for some reason it was rated 3 stars in some websites. I regularly stay at Mar de Cortez, it's clean, reasonable, all the staff are wonderful. Spring break is a very busy and rowdy time in Cabo, the hotel hires extra security for their guests, only hotel guests are allowed in. Just stayed our first night and we were roused by raucous partiers at 6:00 am this morning still drunk from yesterday. Mar de Cortez is a quaint mexican hotel which central to downtown Cabo San Lucas. Rooms were very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. WIFI is available throughout the hotel.The hotel attracts return vacationer because of it friendly atmosphere.
