Just returned from an overnight stay, excellent greeting shown to room no 1 excellent clean room great views and large bathroom. Had dinner in the evening excellent food. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast i have had in a long while. The location is very good with parking. Highly recommend will go back.

Have been here for lunch a few times. There is parking (which is scarce along the waterfront at Mersea) and lovely views of the boats and marshes and estuary from the dining room. A nice pub with excellent food on the menu. Had a superb dinner but breakfast was a little disappointing. Lovely clean room with a view over the water or mud depending on the time of day. Good value for money and just up the road from the famous Oyster shed.

we stayed at the victory for 2 nights in a double garden room we felt so much at home my husband did a bit of gardening.the breakfast was really good and we had a meal and that was lovely we will be going back next year or sooner if we can.sue and steve
