My husband and I lived in England for a short while and stumbled upon folks in Bath who told us we had to take the journey to Durdle Door. (Let me mention if you do not have directions it can be far and difficult to locate.) We took a massive group of friends and made a weekend of our stay.... more

We camped at Durdle Door campsite early September with our 2 year old daughter. Lots of pitches to choose from, either on the camping field or in the wooded area. We chose the wooded area, and were glad we did. If you choose to camp here, make sure you choose a flat surface to pitch your tent, makes things alot... more

the location sells the site, fantastic, but the site is let down by dated and unclean toilet block. the pitch we had was massive and well kept but the site was noisy untill 2am one night The shop and pub are ok and good to see a normal shop not overpriced. The site has the public car park to Durdle... more

Just come back from a weekend stay. We had a pitch with our motorhome on the touring pitches. The site itself is very lovely with amazing views. However, the seaview touring part of the site is described as gently sloping. In parts this is true however, some of the pitches are slighlty more than gently sloping!!! You will definately need... more

We stayed for 5 nights over aug bank holiday. We camp a lot but usually on basic, farmers field type sites so I was a bit nervous about a built up site. There are lots of static caravans, a club house with restaurant and bar, small but well stocked shop, friendly reception, spacious laundry facitities and a really good, shady... more

We booked this site about a month before we were due to travel, and got the last electrical hook-up for a tent pitch. Site has a shop, bar/restaurant, reception. Showers and toilets were adeqaute, and kept clean. Food in the restaurant was nice. Entertainment in the bar seems to be live music on a Saturday and children's disco on a... more

Stayed at Durdle Door Campsite for two weeks in August in our Touring caravan . The part they have set aside for electric Hook ups is in a beautiful spot with direct access to the cliff top walks and down to Durdle Door beach. We had one of the best meals ever in the club house on our first night... more

Durdle Door Caravan Site. Found this amazing caravan park while driving around the stunning coast line from Swanage to Weymouth. As we have a static caravan in Leysdown, Kent we are always on the look out for a better site, we found it in Durdle Door. The reception staff were freindly and helpful, the bar was spacious, freindly and served... more

We stayed at Durdle Door Caravan Park in Dorset for a week in August. The site is fine, good playground for the kids and the caravan was very nice. The problem was cockroaches appearing several nights, which did not go down very well with the children in whose room these things appeared! We reported the problem to reception but they... more
