we stayed at this hotel after a train ride on the rocky mountaineer. The hotel was everything we expected and more, the room was pleasant and a good location, would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody wanting value for money. more

We booked the High Country Inn for three nights based solely on the reviews of TripAdvisor and AAA. We were pleased that the room was clean, fairly large, convenient to downtown Banff, decent pool, free undergound parking. We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of 10 days in the Canadian Rockies. The hotel was fine - clean room, plenty of towels, balcony. Stayed here for one night. The staff were very helpful and stored our luggage for us when we arrived early. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Good location a short walk to the main part of the town. Parking was onsite with plently of avaliable spaces. Breakfast self services but good. Would stay at this hotel again. more

Buffet breakfast was poor: dirty tables, cutlery sitting in a water filled bowl. No staff on hand. Avoid booking the two bedroom suite: room was extremely dark, due to wall and low lighting. Website photos deceptive. more
