Johnston Canyon Resort is a hidden gem in Banff. Centrally located between the town of Banff and the Lake Louise area, it's perfectly located for an extended stay in the park. The cabins are wonderful and the staff was incredibly friendly and took great care of us on our stay. More

Stay here if you don't mind somewhat rustic accommodations in a truly incredible location. The cabins are clean and comfortable but do not offer telephone or cable tv as a previous reviewer noted.
