Our family of 3 stayed in a mountain view room with balcony on the October long weekend. The room was recently renovated, but some of the rest of the hotel was in need of an update. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was nicely done. It was a nice touch having the balcony to sit on at the end... More

We just went to Banff for a quick escape but really enjoyed our time at the Banff Caribou Lodge. We chose a superior room: nice bedding, a little fridge, clean and big bathroom. The check in and check out was a breeze, so many nice and helpful staff available. Underground heated parking is a bonus. We would say the hallway... More

We visited Banff for a couple of days on a little "get-away"; We didn't book in advance, but I had noticed on the Banff tourism website that the Caribou Lodge (along with some other hotels) were offering a good off-season special rate, and that the hotel is well-ranked here on TripAdviso. So upon arrival in Banff, we pulled up to... More

Thank you for the thorough and helpful review. I did receive your comment regarding the towel replacement program and have brought the issue to our Executive Housekeeper for retraining. Thanks for the great comments and feedback - we hope to see you back. More

I was traveling alone and was taking a side trip to Banff National Park. I read other reviews and decided to stay here. The room was very cute and the price was reasonable. I asked the guy at the front desk on places to see in the area and he recommended a great hike up to the summit. The only... More

We arrived at banff 2 hours ahead of check-in but our room was ready so we checked in early and headed out. check-in staff were really helpful, explaining the bus services, where restaurants were etc. The hotel hallways do look a little dated but it didn't bother us. The hot tub was excellent and was part of the reason why... More

We're glad to see you enjoyed your stay with us! Our hallways will be undergoing a carpet replacement this December and January to complete a thorough refurbishment.. We hope you have a chance to see the finished product. Thank you for the review. More

My husband and I decided to elope in Banff and were having the worst luck with our plans. The wedding was suppose to take place outside and it was raining and cold, and our witnesses weren't able to attend. So we decided to perform the ceremony on the deck of our room and asked the hotel staff if any of... More

I stayed in this hotel for thanksgiving weekend. The hotel is close to downtown. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room is nice and clean, and the bed is warm and comfortable. I love the wood fireplace in the lobby. I couldn't help imaging sitting in front the fireplace after full day of skiing. I had dinner in... More

Great first impression of the hotel. The front desk reception was friendly and the whole check-in experience went smoothly. They even upgraded us to a nicer room as it is their slow season. I must admit the hallways need cleaning and updating as they reflected a lot of wear, but our room was wonderful with great linens, feather duvet and... More

Stayed there during my trip to Banff. I booked through Enjoy Banff and got a great recommendation. The location was perfect. The rooms were redone, and it was nice having the restaurant downstairs for a late night snack. More

Very quite setting just off the main high street. Fifteen minute walk into the centre of Banff. The reception staff were very helpful, two day free bus pass provided. Well equipped & clean room with very little noise from traffic even though were were at the front of the building. Free tea & coffee provided in reception throughout the morning... More
