Let me kindly respond to the misleading information you put in your comments: - Considering the summer season and the high demand, I can guarantee you Won't find a Marriott hotel in Calgary that competes with our rates, - Also, after further investigations, it shows on our end that you have booked a total of 4 rooms with Aloft Calgary, 2 of them on a regular rate, and 2 booked on a pre-paid and not refundable rate. To be clear, and make aware other people in this chat, and providing them with truthful statements, 2 of the bookings (the regular rate ones), were cancelled by the Aloft front desk team as per your request (the same front desk team that you did not mind to describe, using your words: the front end desk were of zero help in fixing the situation and were actually incredibly short and rude when asked for help in remedying the situation), even if all bookings were already out of the cancellation window, and my understanding, is that you did NOT get charged as per our 48 hours and 1 night stay cancellation policy. - The 3rd and 4th booking, that you tried to modify, were unfortunately booked differently, you chose to save, and book a NON refundable, not modifiable, and pre-paid reservation. I believe that overall, you got what you asked for (considering the 2 rooms cancelled without penalties), I believe, at some point, it is fair to meet halfway, and considering that YOU made those booking! - Also, for your information only, your phone conversation with my front desk supervisor it's been point of an internal investigation and review, the same, will be point of conversation between the hotel Management and Marriott Elite Team, since we do NOT accept such a behaviour at this specific property.
