The Nova isn't a fancy hotel and if it was in Edmonton it would only be getting a 3 out of 5 , but it is clean and for McMurray quite affordable. Excellent food! Very nice waiting staff in the restaurant, front desk staff are mediocre. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, pretty decent wifi. Price is normal for Fort McMurray where inflation for accommodation is atrocious. There's nothing anyone can do about that.

Stayed here for a shift due to no camp rooms being available at the camp where my job is. Fellow co workers still continue to stay here every shift. nothing but great service and great food and the rooms are so nice and big.

Despite being so far away from everything (except the Airport) my stay at the Chateau Nova has been very comfortable. The lobby is vast and has inviting leather couches, with a partitioned restaurant/lounge off to the right. I stayed in a junior queen suite. Nicely accomodated our dog for a small fee. They even upgraded us. Unfortunately the pet rooms are only available in the smoking ones... And I don't smoke. We ate at the restaurant for supper and both our dishes were quite tasty. Prices were reasonable for Fort Mc Murray area.

We stayed here the night before flying out of Ft McMurray airport, which was right across the street. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the hotel is beautiful. Comfortable beds also. I am busy professional who travels often to Ft. Mac, and the Nova is my hotel of choice. After a long day, I appreciate how quiet the location is. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the rooms clean. I like the added touch of the historical photos that decorate the hallways.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, most uncomfortable beds in the world, and the hotel is uncomfortably warm. First night here tonight, an this will be my last. Better location is the nomad downtown.

If you are on a business trip and would like to be near the airport it's a wonderful place to stay. Breakfast lunch and dinner buffets plus reg menu items.
