In Jasper on business and wanted the experience of a local home. I found it perfect for myself but could easily have brought my husband and son. The suite provided everything you needed when travelling for 4 days. The weather was a little cold but the heater in the suite kept me warm. Will stay again.

First impressions are not the best impressions. Yes, it is dark and the furniture's a bit on the old side. However; you get a lot of B&B for your money. The shower room is great, the bed is comfy and there are clean towels every day. There's a small kitchen, a good sized lounge that could double as an extra... More

Until I read the review on trip advisor about the accommodation being in the basement we were unaware of this. I would never had booked had I known. The property was dark, cold and old fashioned and as one of the owners rooms was also in the basement we could hear them and see lights on. There was noise quite... More

Guests are always informed that the freshly baked breakfast will be placed in the suite the night previous before booking. We are up early in the mornings, but make every effort to be extra quiet. Unfortunately, some people are extra sensitive to footsteps, however quiet. The house is almost 100 years old - correct, but the suite is brand new,... More

Cedar Gate was very convenient for Jasper town centre (approx 5 mins walk). The accomodation living room, small kitchen, bedroom and shower/toilet was of a decent size and very clean. There was a fridge, coffee machine and microwave in the kitchen which were very welcome. The breakfast muffins (left the night before) were delightful, apart from arrival did not see... More

We were very curious to stay at this place as this was the longest stay from our trip through canada.µ However, this was a real disapointment... The host was not friendly, breakfast is placed the morning before, so you never get the see the host... A light point is that you get freshly baked muffin. You are staying in the... More

From time to time, we get busy in our own lives, and do not get as much time to spend with our guests as we would prefer. The small service item the guests refer to was a large crib which had to go on the bus (at my expense) to another town. The bus station is well beyond 100 metres... More

My sister and I stayed at Cedar Gate for six nights and we really enjoyed staying there. My sister stayed in the bedroom while I slept on the very comfortable (though a bit squeaky) sofa bed. We used the fridge, microwave, toaster, dishes, and utensils a lot and it was fun to put the dirty dishes in the container in... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Cedargate and found it to be just what we were looking for. The room is private with a separate entrance and was nice and cosy with the heater going in the living room. The muffins for breakfast each day were very tasty. Ron was very helpful, giving us tips and info about things to... More

We stayed for 2 nights with Debbie and Ron at their lovely home. The accomodation was perfect, especially having our own sitting room to relax in. Highly recommended, thank you.

We spent 4 nights here and found it to be the perfect place to unwind after a hard day of hiking. There is a separate entrance into the B&B which provides privacy not always found.. There are 4 rooms - bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, and kitchenette - all beautifully decorated in a simple elegant style. In addtion to the usual... More
