We had such a great stay in November for my honey's birthday that I wanted to go to the resort for my birthday. It was just as good if not better than our last stay so have to write another review. When we checked in we were upgraded to a newer room overlooking the pool. The front desk were just... More

Room 431 in the main hotel Beautiful setting with amazing pools. We came for the pools and lake not for the hotel room so we were OK with paying $180.00 inc taxes for our family mini suite. Here is my breakdown of the hotel, not including the pools. Pros We had a separate room with twin beds for our son... More

If you are seniors like us, I suggest you visit when school is in!! It is a popular place for folk with young children but for us we like to go when it is quieter. It is a peaceful beautiful hotel and situated in one of nature's paradise spots. Wonderful hot pools, lovely scenery and excellent food.

Stayed in the original(main) building and as some have said the rooms are 'dated', but it is an historical hotel. The one thing that may be hard to get used to if you are on the 1,2 or 3rd floors is the noise from upstairs guests (can hear every movement). Also a potential issue for others : no air conditioning... More

We were there on Friday June 14, 1968 for our honeymoon and returned 45 years later (we have been back in between times). A great room in the newer East Wing overlooking the lake. Extremely comfortable bed, clean bathroom and nice to have a balcony! Time is starting to show on the carpets and even thought nice large LG televisions,... More

My sister and I stayed two nights in May for a girls' weekend. Everything about this hotel is dated! Our room was not what I expected for the rate we paid (over $200 per night when it really felt like a a room that we should have paid $100 for). The only positives about the room were that it was... I was at the spa for the whole day. What an experience had my own private room with a natural hot springs spa in it. This spa is awesome. If your wanting to have treatments go all out that's all I can say. It so rewarding in the end. My total for the night and all spa services was 600.00... More

This was our second trip. We were here 3 years ago and gave it 5 stars. This time we stayed in the "West Wing", a two story section and had a room with a "Garden View" (see photo). This time we were here midweek and it was really great because nothing was crowded. The room was comfortable and included a... More

HHSRS is world famous, and rightly so. Beautiful setting, great hot-spring pools. But maybe the customers are going too easily. Lots of tour-bus groups there. Check-in was perfunctory; no nice smile or welcome. No robes in our room; we had to ask. And then the robes arrived twice, once in the evening when we asked, and again the next morning... More

The hotel building is old and you might get a room not to the satisfaction level for the price you pay. Family suite is not really a suite but just two adjacent rooms with a door between them. The rooms are very compact enough just for sleeping. Cleanliness is good. Beds are average comfort. If you are happy with using... More
