Stay at one of the best places Nanaimo has to Offer! Our modern property is located on just over an acre of woodland, landscaped gardens, right in the centre of Nanaimo. Enjoy affordable luxury, elegantly & individually designed rooms furnished & equipped with facilities expected by the discerning traveler. Deluxe beds, a divine breakfast menu, impeccable service & always a warm welcome.
Not far from the ferry terminal, and situated in a quiet area of Nanaimo, this was a perfect base for our travels out to Campbell River, Ucluelet/Tofino and Victoria. We stayed in the Lancaster suite which was a self-contained flat with bedroom, private bathroom, kitchen (with washing machine and drier) and lounge area with TV. This provided ample room for our stay and suited our needs perfectly – also allowed us to get some washing done before returning to the UK. Helen was a great host and served a lovely breakfast. We would recommend this B&B and hope to be able to stay here again on return visits.

it was a nice too short stay! Our room was not big but lovely and perfectly convenient with everything what you need and a bathtube. the bed was very confortable and of good quality! It was very clean. The property is beautiful with a lot of flower. Even if we had to come late due to a ferry delay our host was waiting for us and was very friendly and welcomging. it was a pleasure to stay here for our first night on Vancouver Island. Breakfast was very good too.

I stayed in this B&B for one night over the Labour Day weekend, while visiting a son and daughter-in-law in Nanaimo. My reason for selecting it was its proximity to my family but I quickly realized I had found a hidden gem. The B&B is run by two very friendly and helpful sisters; the accommodation is excellent; the bed comfortable; the food tasty and the location is quiet but close to Nanaimo amenities. I highly recommend staying here!

This B&B is in a residential neighborhood, so nice and quiet but about a ten minute drive from the city, the ferry, etc. It is on a beautifully landscaped property that is super well kept up, both inside and out. The guest rooms have a separate entrance than the main house, where breakfast was served. Helen is a good cook and a gracious hostess. Great find!

This B & B is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is great (I chose waffles with fruit, but there are other choices). My room was quiet, bedding was comfortable. The only drawback is that it is not close to Nanimo's waterfront. But it is just off the TransCanada, and for me, the location was ideal, since I was picking up a car from a nearby dealership. Good value.

Only stayed for one night and we picked this BnB because it was near the ferry. But it was a very pleasant one-night stay. The bed and bathroom were VERY clean and comfortable. The breakfast was large and hearty. Definitely a nice place to stay for a quick stop over in Nanaimo. Though the host family lives upstairs, it was very quiet and we didn't hear them. The room has it's own private entrance from the main house, though you do have to go into the main house for breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at the Maple View Bed & Breakfast for four nights. It was comfortable, clean and convenient! Our room and private bath was spotless and had a separate door from the main house. It had everything that you might want or need, including toiletries, wine glasses/corkscrew, coffee maker/coffee, very comfortable bed/linens. The owner that we had the most contact with was Helen, who was gracious and very friendly. She and her sister prepared breakfast for us, at the time of our choosing, every morning and it was beautifully presented and delicious. We would highly recommend this place, and will definitely stay there again! George and Marigrace

Maple View Bed and Breakfast was a pleasant place to stay. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The room was impeccably clean and had lots of amenities. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants. The mattress was extremely comfortable and the linens were luxurious. The breakfast was a little disappointing but that could have been because we needed to rush to catch the ferry.

We found the Maple View B&B through Trip Advisor and booked a two-night stay based on the high praise from previous guests. We went directly to the B&B from the BC ferry and despite being a few hours early, our host, Catherine greeted us warmly and showed us to our room. The room, while not large is beautifully furnished with modern black furniture and lovely decor. The queen-sized bed is very comfortable and the bed linens soft and of good quality. The pillows perhaps could be upgraded, but were okay. The ensuite bathroom has plenty of fluffy white towels and face cloths and good quality shampoo, conditioner and lotions. The room is very clean and well equipped with a small tv and internet connection. There is a small fridge in the room, but no microwave. Coffee/tea and a coffee maker were supplied, but no milk or condiments. We were invited to choose from a choice of breakfasts and I had a lovely vegetable omelet while my partner chose waffles with fruit. Toast and fresh fruit as well as tea/coffee were provided and were well presented and delicious. This is a lovely B&B and pride of ownership is shown in the quality of service and amenities. The B&B is close to the Departure Bay ferry terminal, shopping and services. I highly recommend the Maple View B&B to couples. Thank you Catherine for a lovely stay; we will be back.…
