Monivea is conveniently and closely located south of Ganges. Wendy and John are wonderful hosts. They have created a little oasis on this island. My husband and I slept soundly in the River suite. We stayed two nights and enjoyed the breakfasts (herb egg omelet and waffle).

Although residents of Vancouver Island, neither of us had been to Salt Spring Island. Arriving mid-afternoon in late February, we assumed we had ample time to find accommodation. Wendy did a wonderful job of making us feel welcome at this very relaxing and comfortable B & B. We had come for her Kayaking and Spa package. We loved the rooms, gardens, spa treatment and kayaking trip. Fantastic breakfasts -- especially the eggs benedict! A lovely home away from home on a beautiful island.

My husband and I stayed one night at Monivea. It was raining so we could not take advantage of the garden which seems nice. It was the most expensive B&B we stayed at yet was not the nicest. Our room was large, but felt cramped as the ceiling was quite low and there was too much furniture. Breakfast was OK.
