4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 June 2013 NEW

I had been staying at this property both in the old and newer buildings 5 times in the past 10 years. I just had another stay at this property for three nights. Besides it is getting older and not being as well kept, the staff just isn't as professional and friendly as our previous visits in the past. For example,... More

My son took me to the Wickaninnish for my 56th birthday. This was his second visit and he thought I would love spending a few days as part of our BC trip. He was right! Such a lovely resort - comfortable, effortlessly friendly and efficient, and well appointed, inside and out. We also thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the Pointe... More

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff helpful but the onsite restaurant fell way short of our expectations. As very experienced travelers we are not overly critical. However, The Point restaurant left us perplexed after a dinner during which we tried 6 courses and a breakfast were we tried 3 courses and only found the view and the homemade... More

Dear Mido D, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your recent stay at our Inn and your dining experience at The Pointe Restaurant. While we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us, we were most disappointed to learn that your dining experience at The Pointe Restaurant fell short of your expectations. Our goal... More

We recently had a 4 night stay at the Wickaninnish Inn in Tofino,as part of a three week holiday in Canada. What a mistake ! We should have stayed there for the whole three weeks ! Driving up to Tofino from Victoria was a long drive and we arrived tired. As soon as we pulled up outside reception a guy appeared from... More

Visiting the Wickaninnish in Tofino was one of the best experiences of our lives. We booked the Hotel because after spending 6 weeks in downtown Vancouver, we were in need for some quiet time. A friend recommended this Hotel some time ago and we are grateful he did. It is quiet, relaxing, clean and beautiful. It also comes with a... More

Our first visit to Tofino area. We went to the Wickaninnish Inn with high expectations and they were met in every way. The site is magnificent, the staff were always helpful without being obtrusive, the food at The Pointe was excellent and the room was wonderful. Get room 209, the corner room with views out of two sides if you... More

Had a beautiful stay. Loved every detail from the room, to the beach. The full kitchen in our suite was an extra bonus! A pricey hotel, but worth every penny, IMO. Bonus: raingear provided in each room :) Totally needed it for our wet week in Tofino!

My wife and I decided that this location exceeds any seaside visual experience we have ever had in our past international travels. Besides the splendid view of the Pacific you can seriously entertain yourself in the bar area with a glass of wine from a multiple page wine list, and a bar menu that exceeds the variety of any main... I know it is expensive, but the Wick Inn is so worth it. The setting is gorgeous, the rooms are simple but elegant and comfortable, and the staff is super nice and accommodating. The restaurant is fancy but the food is really creative and excellent. The spa is lovely. Tofino is hard to get to, but the hiking/walking are great,... More

we had a great stay at the Wick - the only downside was we stayed a single night (3 would have been better!) The hotel is right on the beach and I think all rooms have ocean views. We were there in 'off season' so it was nice and quiet and we were able to soak up the atmosphere and... More

Wickaninnish Inn, a Relais & Chateaux property since 1997, overlooks the Pacific Ocean from a rocky point on Vancouver Island’s rugged west coast, near the eclectic town of Tofino and Pacific Rim National Park. Two contemporary cedar buildings, set against a backdrop of ancient rainforest, boast an extensive local art collection (complemented by the neighbouring wood carving shed), and all rooms and suites offer ocean or beach views, gas fireplace, soaker tub and individual balcony.
