We stayed at the Greenbrier Hotel for 4 nights early May 2013. It was a very cheap option, and one of the few places we could find that would allow our 3 children to stay with us in the room. The room and bathroom was not fancy, but it was very spacious and included basic kitchen facilities (large fridge, stove,... More

The cons are that there's no elevator or AC. We were there in April so no need for AC. It was a great location for walking to downtown, Coal Harbour and to the Seawall and the little ferry to Granville Island. The kitchen was a great plus especially the fridge. Breakfast was included but simple ( tea, coffe and juice)... More

Although the Greenbrier has a simple look from the outside, the rooms are very clean and spacious, and ours had an amazing view of Coal Harbour. The kitchen was perfect for our use and the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating to our every need. We could easily walk to English Bay, False Creek, downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park.... More

Incredibly spacious, friendly staff, great location and even better price. I have no complaints about this hotel other than the parking which is difficult if you have a truck. Hotels next door and down the street are double and triple the price of the Greenbrier, I will for sure stay here again when I return and will suggest the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed for one night this past weekend and we enjoyed ourselves. The check-in and check-out staff were friendly, the room was very spacious and clean (with a small kitchenette), and there is a light continental breakfast of bagels, muffins, toast with jam and coffee/tea. If you don't mind an older building and you're looking for a... More

I stayed there for 3 nights in september. The hotel just located middle of downtown vancouver. Many bars and classy restaurants just 2 blocks away from the hotel. Especially hotel stuff are super friendly. I advise Greenbrier if you look for a large room and comfy propety with lots of lovely stuff

We stayed in an apartment/suite and while it was very basic, it was good enough. But we had to ask for dishes, pans, silverware, and there were no cleaning items (sponge, soap, kitchen towels), so hard to actually use the kitchen. The heating was centrally controlled, so we were too warm most of the time (windows open, but didn't feel... More

Most of our suites have a kitchen area and we actually do not put utensils either dish soap, sponge and a dish towel in the room but we have everything and we let our guests know at the check-in that we can provide everything without additional cost. The heating is central and unfortunately we don't have air conditioner but we... More

I recently stayed at the Greenbrier Hotel for four nights when visiting my daughter. I made my reservation with some trepidation because a number of post 2009 reviews gave it a bad rating. However after staying at many other hotels in Vancouver over the past three years I thought I would give it a try. I am very glad I... More

I recently spent two nights in a very spacious and comfortable room at the Greenbrier and was very pleased with the accommodation. I stayed in the beautiful Greenbrier Hotel for one night and I wished I could have stayed longer. The room was fantastic, it was worth paying a little extra for the Executive Suite. The staff was the most over-the-top friendly front-desk I've ever experienced. I will definitely stay there again.

We have a friendly team who loves helping our guests and offering an excellent service. Our Executive Suite is a great room. Very spacious, coming with a living room area that has a pull-out couch and can turn an extra Queen size bed, kitchen, bathroom and a private bedroom. It's perfect for 2 or 3 people. Thank you very much... More
