Loden is by far our favorite hotel in Vancouver. The hotel is in a great central location close to endless shops, restaurants, and center of happenings. Our room was a bit on the smaller side, but well equipped, smartly organized, quiet, and very clean. What makes this hotel exceptional is its staff. Everyone makes you feel welcomed and as if you are the only guest at the hotel. The Tableau restaurant is equally fantastic in all aspects. We can't wait for our next stay at Loden.

Hotel's Favourite
Can't say that enough good things about this hotel. It has set a high bar for any other hotel I stay at to measure up to. Pros: The room was really great; loved the large bathroom, big deep bathtub, and super comfy bed. The hotel location can't be beat: nice, quiet, upscale feeling neighbourhood but it's still super close to everything. We were downtown for a concert at BC Place and it was a very quick walk (maybe a block) from the hotel to the Burrard skytrain station which made getting across town quick and easy. When we got back to the room afterwards there were little cookies and chocolates waiting for us with a nice thank you note AND a pitcher of water with lemon and ice on the nightstand. The water was exactly what I needed at that moment so it was perfect. Cons: The only complaint is that check in is 3pm but our room wasn't ready until like 3:25pm. Normally it wouldn't have mattered but the concert started at 430pm and it would have been nice to have the extra time to get ready and relax before we headed out. That's kind of on me though, I should have called ahead and requested an early check in time so they knew we had plans early in the evening. The room we had was worth the wait though, it even had a partial ocean view. I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We always stay here. Why? Excellent service. They obviously write notes after you leave and remember you when you arrive. You are always greeted with a smile and cheerfulness. The rooms are fine. Try to get a higher floor if you can for a better view. The bath and furniture need to be refreshed is the only downside. Food at Tableau next door is excellent. Try the French onion soup and the omelette. Service can be slow. Great location for walking and shopping.

Our favorite when visiting Vancouver, BC. Modern, clean, and centrally located. With walking access to shopping downtown and Stanley Park. An easy ferry ride to Granville Island. Consistent quality with exceptionally kind staff/service. A true gem.

Currently in The Loren for one night. Arrived very early in the morning after a cross-county rail trip. I did not expect the room to be ready at such an early hour and it was not. The hotel on-duty manager graciously offered me the use of the small hotel lounge while waiting for my room to be prepared. The front desk personnel stored my luggage in the meanwhile and when the room was made ready, someone from the front desk arrived and escorted me to the room which is nicely appointed. I am very appreciative of this level of hotel hospitality which is noteworthy IMO and prompts me to favorably consider using the hotel for possible future stays in the city.

Our favorite hotel in Vancouver! The best by far. Th commitment to service at the Loden Hotel is exceptional. We booked a stay for our anniversary and from the moment we arrived everyone went above and beyond to help us feel special and celebrated. Matus the valet was cheerful and fun, and set a wonderful tone. Stan who checked us in, was awesome and upon learning of our special occasion upgraded us into a gorgeous suite. And Paola delivered a bottle of champagne; complete with a hand written note from Irina welcoming us and congratulating us. How rare and unexpected! It is rare to be wowed by service and more often than not, you do not feel the warmth of hospitality (let’s be honest it is hard to pull that off in any business day in day out). But this place is special and aspires to be - it comes through. The rooms are fabulously appointed and a true 5 star hotel in my opinion, as nice as the nicest hotels we’ve stayed anywhere in the world. Highly recommend - would give 10 Stars if I could.

What lovely people. Everyone that we encountered in the hotel were genuinely warm and caring. A special shout out needs to made to Stanislav. His beaming smile, good humor, and excellent recommendations made our trip extra special. The hotel itself is beautiful and well appointed. Its central location made getting to restaurants and venues very quick and easy. The in-house cafe had delicious food, and more importantly, great coffee :) I highly recommend that you stay here when you come to Vancouver. Corporate hotels have their place in life, but you should definitely give this place a try.

My experience with Loden began before I even arrived; Alina (one of the staff) reached out to me the day prior to my arrival to extend a welcome, and to confirm a few details (such as arrival time). I had the pleasure of staying at here at the beginning of February, which - as the hotel advertises - is centrally (and conveniently!) located with exceptional amenities. It's a little over a block away from the Burrard TransLink Station (making it easy to access from either YVR or Pacific Central Station), and has a wonderfully inviting atmosphere. The staff are charming and wonderfully hospitable with an eye for comfort and the little things. For example - the doors aren't automatic, but the staff at the reception desk can (and do) open them remotely, especially if they see your hands are full. They will also call an elevator down for you, so you do not need to wait in the lobby area (though it is wonderfully decorated and quite cozy) And - my room had a handwritten note from the VP of operations, extending yet another welcome, along with some small treats (chocolates, mixed nuts, and cookies), and a decanter of lemon water. Oh - and as one might expect; the bed was immaculately made, the pillows were comfortable, the blankets were soft, and the room design was very chic. The designers definitely deserve props too - but the stars of the establishment are absolutely the staff (and maybe the avocado tartine - there's like two full avocados AND an egg on that slice of bread). There are many other small things - but all of it sums up to the hospitality team here being exceptional. This marks my first time reviewing a hotel so it is a bit ramble-y, though I felt the need to sing the praises of this establishment - and give a special shout out to Alina, Stanislav, Francisco (?), and all the others whose names I may not know, but whose kindness and professionalism contributed to a fantastic experience. 5/5 - would stay again, and I heartily recommend.

The Loden Hotel was amazing. I think the thing you would expect from this type of hotel are all as you would anticipate. Amazing restaurant, exceptionally clean rooms, beautiful decor, incredible location and view. What really takes it over the top though is the things that are unique to it. The fact that Loden is a boutique hotel with charm really gives it an appeal that the larger hotels don’t carry. The boutique feel does not carry the description though as boutique does not always mean incredible. More as though it is Bespoke. It’s all the details that feel as though they are custom made for you, is what makes this Hotel a 5 star rating. Right down to the singularly important front desk staff. They are, without a doubt, the best I have had the pleasure of interacting with. They somehow always knew my name, anything I needed - they went well above what was expected, and so on. The Loden Hotel continued to impress me every day I was there with how kind they were, the nice things they provided us from treats in our room, hand written welcome notes, courtesy London style car, bikes and more. I will stay at the hotel every opportunity I have, you should too.

Our experience was wonderful. The staff was thoughtful, kind and considerate. We were recognized each time we entered and exited. We felt seen and when we needed something it was written down and taken care of. Arrangements were made for a deep tissue massage and the practitioner was professional and skilled. The staff was amazing!
